nodularizer

Nodularizers are mainly used to manufacture spheroidal graphite cast iron (also known as ductile cast iron or FCD) in the field of cast iron production. Crystallizing the graphite in cast iron into spherical shapes plays an important role in vastly improving the mechanical properties of the material, particularly the strength and toughness.

OTG’s NSeries can be customized to accommodate various applications, including adjusting the components, the granularity, packaging format, sandwiching technique, and wire injection technique. Please feel free to contact us for further details.

OGRC Series(RE-based nodularizer)

Versatile nodularizer with customizable components

The OGRC Series is a nodularizer based on Si and contains Mg, Ca, and RE (rare earth). Not only is it used to manufacture spheroidal graphite cast iron, but its components can be customized to improve production efficiency and molten metal quality to help meet your spheroidizing process requirements and demands, and to improve the quality of your cast products.

Components can be adjusted to meet your requirements. Products derived from controlling AI (not included in the table) are also available. We can provide spheroidizing processes that are optimized to match your cast products. Please feel free to contact us for further details.

OGLC Series(lanthanum-based (La) nodularizer)

The OGLC Series of nodularizers use lanthanum (La) only instead of conventional products that contain RE. This contributes to increasing the graphite grain number and suppressing ingot piping, improving cast product quality and helping reduce the total cost.

Each component can be adjusted to meet your needs. We can provide spheroidizing processes that are optimized to match your cast products. Please feel free to contact us for further details.
